We found this hidden gem and are happy that we did. If you ever had Chinese food from Monterey Park, you will love this. My only regret, we didn't find this place sooner. The food was really good, portions are quite generous, and we got our food quite fast. The staff was really nice. I don't have any complaints only compliments. We tried the orange chicken, the dumplings, pork buns. We ordered like 12 items that I can't even list it all. Keep this place busy, we definitely need it around.

No, I know everybody has a different type of taste buds but nonetheless, I think everybody knows what overcooked food is and undercooked food is and this one was just not it and all honesty and my opinion there was no meat inside the orange chicken. The pork was overly cooked very very tough no really no texture to it except it’s just very very rough felt like some beef jerky. The noodles I asked for Hong Kong fried pan noodles. They gave me just fried noodles fried three times so all the noodles just were felt like if they were drenched in oil there was no crunch to it like I asked then when I asked them to if they could give me what I asked to show them in the picture they said they first assured me yeah they could then they came back and then when I told him that this was not what I asked for they gave me attitude, took it back and and all they did was do the same thing they did the first time twice and then I told him again like no that’s not what I asked for. I’m OK. They assured me that that they could get it right they kept the same noodles brought it back so now it was three times fried to their standards not to what I was asking for. I wanted to crunch on the noodles I did

The service was spectacular, and the food was even better. Everything you could hope for in one place! We ordered the vegetable pan-fried noodles, honey walnut shrimp, salt-and-pepper beef, xiao long bao, and string beans. Every dish was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The flavors were outstanding, and each item left a lasting impression. Combined with the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere, this was a truly memorable dining experience. We can't wait to come back!

I’ve always heard the saying, “food so good it’ll make you wanna slap your mama”! let me tell you, Phu Chen was exactly that. We were in the area and decided to try this hidden gem, and WOW. It was so freakin’ good. We ordered the orange chicken and the black pepper mignon, and both were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The service? Amazing. Attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. In LA we’re spoiled with so many incredible food spots, but this one? Solid 5/5. Truly a gem in the community. I will definitely be back. (Even if it’s an hour drive) haha
